Barangay Elections

Democracy in the works. Barangay Elections was held yesterday, which could be a preparation for foundation for 2010 Presidential Election. Pity to those candidates, who have not been elected or are now "losers" have to cope up with people who ask for financial assistance, "medicine money", funeral assistance and other sorts. Lots of money given away by candidates and lots of money they have to make "bawi" after then. Some of them trusted so many "campaigners" not knowing that this could be same people that had them lose. Tsk... Tsk... Elections have been a source of income to some people. I pity those candidates. God save our country!
